Tony Pointon - Partner
Tony is the Managing Partner at Pointon Partners, leading the Commercial and Taxation practices. He is a Chartered Tax Advisor and a committee member of the Tax Institute of Australia. With experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and as an associate to a judge handling taxation appeals, Tony brings a unique and practical approach to taxation matters. A long-time sailor and member of the Sandringham Yacht Club, Tony enjoys sailing, playing golf, cheering for the mighty Tigers, and spending time at his historic farm in the Macedon Ranges.
Michael Bishop - Partner
Michael studied Law and Commerce at Melbourne University, graduating with Honours in both fields, and joined Pointon Partners straight after graduation in 1997. He became a partner in 2005. Michael heads the Employment Law practice at Pointon Partners and co-leads the firm’s M&A practice. Michael is known for his efficient and practical approach in representing and advising his clients.
David Mazzeo - Partner
David is a Partner at Pointon Partners with over 20 years of professional experience. Specialising in commercial and property law, David leads the firm’s property and intellectual property practice groups. David has extensive experience representing both local and international clients, including major corporations, entrepreneurs, private and institutional lenders and borrowers, funds, property developers, and family businesses on a wide range of property and business law matters.
Felicity Cara-Carson - Partner
Felicity Cara-Carson joined Pointon Partners in 2015 and is now a Partner, specialising in Commercial and Intellectual Property law. She is also a Registered Trade Marks Attorney. Previously a partner at a commercial law firm, Felicity advises a diverse range of clients, from individuals and small businesses to large organisations and entities, across various industries including retail, wholesale, service, supply, transportation, hospitality, fashion, and entertainment.
Simon Della Marta - Partner
Commercial and business law demands extensive experience and insight, which Simon Della Marta offers in safeguarding and managing your commercial, business, and investment interests, as well as corporate governance matters. Simon earned degrees in Law and Arts (with majors in political science and Australian Literature) from the University of Sydney. In his spare time, he enjoyed skiing, playing rugby, watching cricket, and helping to create and work in his family’s iconic Glebe Terrace Restaurant.
Andrew Kaspen - Partner
Andrew has been a building and property lawyer for over 20 years. He is proactive in risk management, always striving to meet the commercial needs and realities of his clients. Accessibility and transparency are top priorities for Andrew, but his greatest satisfaction comes from achieving results that build long-term relationships with his clients.
